SHOTS FIRED: Meiners Oaks Man Arrested

On March 28, 2010 at approximately 0100 hours, Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a “shots fired” call in the 100 block of Padre Juan in Meiners Oaks. Deputies located several witnesses, broken glass and several spent shotgun shells in the street. As the investigation was continuing, an additional call to Sheriff ‘s dispatch revealed the location of the vehicle and its occupants.
Sheriff’s Major Crimes detectives were called to assist in the criminal investigation. They determined that a physical altercation took place in the front yard of Jason McCoy’s residence between the victims and the suspect. After the physical altercation ended, the suspect armed himself with a shotgun and fired several rounds as the vehicle left the area. The occupants of the vehicle were not injured in the shooting.
McCoy, 19, was arrested and booked at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention facility for assault with a deadly weapon and shooting at an occupied vehicle with a bail amount of $50,000.

The mccoys are white power. No matter how hard people try to say otherwise this is the truth. There father obviously has issues to hand a gun over to his son. These little boys shouldnt try to fight bigger people if all they are going to be using is weapons. Didnt you all learn from what seth had to go through??? First off he never beat his girlfriend, he’s not doing time for that FALSE accusation. He was protecting her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since other people i shall not name here on this blog are not ballsy enough to admit who they are and what they did or take any fall for THEIR wrongdoing, the McCoy’s all clearly stated what they did and what the TRUTH is and obviously you only want to see the BAD which is a shame since the McCoy’s are as respectful and kind and none the less more grounded then anyone would like to admit. Furthermore the McCoy’s should be recognized for their bravery in protecting people and should be recognized for the good people they really are. If all you closed minded individuals out there would like to see all the bad then so be in it. But all of you are so quick to forget that they are the kind of people who would take the shirt off their back to help someone else in need even a complete stranger. Your ignorance should have a name behind it.
