Man Critical After Stabbing
VENTURA COUNTY SHERIFF’S PRESS RELEASE
In the early morning hours of January 1, 2009, Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to a report of a 27-year-old male assault victim in the 200 block of Waite Street in Ojai. Deputies located and contacted the victim, who was suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported by ambulance to the Ojai Valley Community Hospital where he was listed in “critical condition.” Anyone with information related to this incident is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Department. Ventura County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and criminal complaint against the person(s) responsible for this crime.
